Phil Hess

Phil has more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry.  Phil retired as President of WellSpan Philhaven after 34 years. He brings considerable leadership expertise and valuable contacts in the local health care community. 

In April 2024, Phil left retirement and accepted the position of President of the Anabaptist Providers Group.  It is an organization created to support 14 eastern PA retirement communities with leadership development and facilitating various engagement activities. 

In addition to the UDS Clinical Services Board, Phil serves on the Boards of The Touchstone Foundation, Ephrata Area Social Services, Garden Spot Village, Ephrata Area Education Foundation, and is the Board President for the Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity..
