FAQs about In-Home Care
I need personal care services at home. Are there any upfront costs?
There are no upfront costs, and security deposits are ever required. We do free home evaluations and safety assessments. We bill for all services rendered at the end of each month.
I need resources, but I don’t know where to start or what’s available. Can I talk to someone to discuss my needs?
The Resource Center is here to answer your questions and connect you with the right support. We primarily assist individuals seeking services in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, and if we don’t have an answer, we’ll help find it.
We can connect you to resources like home care, medical equipment, accessible home modifications, custom wheelchair seating, and service dogs—while helping you understand what options best fit your needs.
Fill out our contact form or call (888) 837-4235 to get started.
Is there financial assistance available to help me get the resources I need?
We understand that navigating financial assistance can feel overwhelming. While we don’t provide funding directly, we’re here to help you explore your options and connect with programs that may offer financial support based on your needs and eligibility.
How do I vet your caregivers?
Inviting someone into your home to provide care is a big decision. That’s why we take great care in selecting and preparing our caregivers. Each team member goes through a thorough hiring and screening process—including background and reference checks, competency evaluations, and training—before ever working with a participant.
Do you have any resources for me while I care for my family member?
Yes we do.
Caring for a loved one can be incredibly meaningful, but it can also be overwhelming at times. Feeling stressed, exhausted, or burned out is more common than many caregivers realize—and taking care of yourself is just as important as caring for the person you love.
To help support you along the way, we offer resources and trainings on topics including:
The Basics of Managing Stress
Beating Burnout: Spot the Symptoms and Take Action
We encourage you to give yourself grace, ask for help when needed, and make time for your own well-being, too.
