We don’t just provide a league; we provide the thrill of victory.
Learning the Game and Reveling in Team Spirit
Along with teaching football and cheerleading fundamentals, CFCL gives you the opportunity to pull together as a team in front of a cheering crowd. The rules are simple – every player participates to their level of achievement, and everybody gets their time in the spotlight. Everybody scores, and everybody wins. When it comes to the Challenger flag football league, it’s truly how you play the game!
Tackle football isn’t for everybody, but the UDS Challenger Football and League is! The Challenger Football and Cheerleading League (CFCL) is the ultimate team sport and the perfect way for people ages 8-21 with disabilities to get some exercise and have fun.

2020 CFCL Season Schedule
The CFCL season typically runs every Saturday between August and Mid-October. Every season is followed by a participation banquet to honor the players and cheerleaders. This year’s banquet will be held on October 27. Each participant receives a certificate of achievement and award to remember the season by. We also recognize the support of sponsors, families, and the over 30 volunteers who help out each week.
Games are held at 10 AM at Calvary Church, which is located at 1051 Landis Valley Road in Lancaster. Challenger cheerleading practice begins at 9:45 AM before each game.
Become a CFCL Buddy and Get in the Game!
All it takes to be a CFCL Buddy is a little time, a big heart, and a playful spirit. You’ll push players around the field and help out with passing and catching. Sharing just a little bit of time on your Saturday morning will have a big impact on some very special people.
Anyone over 18 will need a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance check to become a CFCL Buddy
