Revel in Team Spirit
The Challenger Football and Cheerleading Leage is the ultimate team sport and the perfect way for people ages 8-21 with disabilities to get some exercise, socialize, and have fun. Along with teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, CFCL provides the opportunity to come together as a team in front of a cheering crowd. The rules are simple–every player participates to their level of achievement–and gets time in the spotlight. Everybody scores and everybody wins. It’s up to you how you play the game!

Please note: we will not be able to accept registrations for the 2026 football season after June 30th however we are happy to add you to our wait list for the 2027 season.

Is there a fee to participate?
To help make it a fun and memorable experience for every player, we’re introducing a small registration fee this year. The fee covers game snacks, our end-of season banquet, your participant T-shirt, and more.
Every dollar goes right back into the program to support our players and keep the fun going all season long.
When is the Challenger Football League usually held?
Challenger Football League games are held annually from August-October.
How can I support the Challenger Football League?
You can support our program by volunteering as a CFCL Buddy, by becoming a Challenger Sponsor or with a financial gift.
