Accessible Solutions Brokerage (ASB) partners with healthcare organizations, managed care organizations, and service providers to coordinate home modification projects from assessment through completion. Our experienced team also works directly with individuals and families seeking private-pay home modifications.

Every project starts with an in-person home assessment.
Our experienced Accessibility Designers visit each home to evaluate the environment, understand the individual’s needs firsthand, and develop practical recommendations that support safety, independence, and successful project outcomes. We believe there’s no substitute for seeing the home in person.
From there, our team develops recommendations, prepares design plans, coordinates contractor bidding, manages approvals, oversees construction, and performs a final inspection to ensure the completed modifications meet both quality standards and the individual’s needs.

Accessible Solutions Brokerage FAQ
Yes. Every project begins with an in-person home assessment conducted by one of our trained Accessibility Designers. We evaluate both the individual’s needs and the home environment to develop personalized recommendations that promote safety, accessibility, and independence.
Once a project is approved, our team continues to manage it from start to finish. A dedicated Project Manager coordinates the installation, conducts site visits to monitor quality, and completes a final walk-through to ensure the work meets our standards.
Yes. We accept privately funded projects when the entire project is paid out of pocket. If a project is being funded through insurance or another third-party payer, private payment cannot be combined with that funding source.
ASB partners with a network of qualified contractors who have been carefully vetted for the quality of their work and professionalism. All contractors are required to maintain the appropriate state registrations, including Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor (HICPA) registration or New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor (HICB) registration, depending on the project location.
For each project, qualified contractors are invited to submit competitive bids. Our team reviews each proposal using established criteria, including the requirements of the funding organization when applicable, before selecting the contractor best suited for the project.
