Plus, you’ll help provide greater independence for someone with a disability. UDS offers sponsorships for service dogs in training, placement teams, or puppies just starting their training.

Make a Difference for Our Dogs
Gifts of any size make a positive difference in empowering individuals with disabilities. While your support gives us the flexibiity to respond where needs are greatest, here are some examples of what your generosity can accomplish witin our Services Dogs program:
- $25 helps provide essential grooming tools and everyday care supplies for a puppy in training.
- $50 helps cover specialized training equipment, like service vests, gentle leaders, and harnesses.
- $100 helps fund a month of high-quality nutritional food and preventative wellness care for a working puppy.
- $250 helps support intensive, specialized task training to prepare a service dog for custom placement with its future partner.
UDS SERVICE DOGS ARE ACCREDITED BY ASSISTANCE DOGS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (ADI)
ADI is a worldwide coalition of non-profit programs that train and place Assistance Dogs. ADI has become the leading authority in the Assistance Dog industry. Their objectives are to establish and promote standards of excellence in all areas of assistance dog acquisition, training and partnership, facilitate communication and learning among member programs, and educate the public to the benefits of Assistance Dogs and ADI membership. Assistance Dogs organizations that pass ADI’s accreditation process become ADI Accredited Member program, and are assessed every five years to ensure they meet the highest standards in the industry.
