J.P. Shand, MD is a board certified Psychiatrist and Forensic Psychiatrist.  Dr. Shand brings valuable experience and knowledge to his board position in both the field of mental health and healthcare systems. He is currently Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer at PerformCare and prior to that was Medical Director of Psychiatric Services at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. He remains active in lecturing, teaching and publishing in his field. He joined our UDSF board in 2021.
