John “J.P.” Shand, MD

J.P. Shand, MD has more than 9 years of experience in the field of psychiatry after medical school.  Dr. Shand brings valuable experience and knowledge to his board position in both the field of mental health and healthcare systems. He is currently Medical Director of Psychiatric Services at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital, and is active in lecturing, teaching and publishing in his field. He has joined our UDSF board in 2021.
