UDSF is a 501(c)(3) organization that was incorporated in July 2007. We focus exclusively on charitable and educational purposes to advance the independence of the aging and people with disabilities by providing management guidance and financial support. 

We achieve our goals through gifts, grants, and contributions to UDSF, Accessing Independence, and other organizations created and operated exclusively for similar charitable purposes.

UDSF is the “sole member,” which means it exercises certain reserve powers over other UDS corporate entities. Based on this structure, the net assets of each entity include the UDS Foundation, UDS Direct Services, Independent Living Services, and Adult Enrichment.
