Protect A Pup: Service Dog Spaying & Neutering Donation

Spaying or neutering a pup, not only helps to control the pet homelessness crisis, there are also medical and behavioral benefits to spaying (female) and neutering (male) dogs.

Female dogs typically live a longer, healthier life. Spaying helps prevent uterine infections and breast tumors, which are malignant or cancerous in about 50 percent of dogs. Neutering a male pup prevents testicular cancer and some prostate problems.

This procedure can also help to ensure a better behaved animal with more likelihood of them completing their service dog training successfully.

UDS typically spays/neuters our pups at 1-year of age.
