Jomarie Angier cropped

Director

Jo is a certified nurse navigator with the heart failure program at UPMC Central PA-Harrisburg hospital.

Jo became a part of the Accessing Independence (AI) family working as a personal care attendant in 2015 while attending nursing school.  After obtaining her nursing degree in 2016 she worked per diem as an intake registered nurse for clients referred to AI via the office of aging.  She also worked full-time on the cardiac telemetry unit at UPMC Central PA – Harrisburg Hospital.

She is passionate about the geriatric population as well as the Latino community and the unique needs that encompass their care.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, three cats, and two dogs. She is also an avid digital artist, ancient history fan and aquarium hobbyist.  She hopes to bring a unique perspective as a board member with AI.
